 WAR MEMORIALS COLLECTION
The third coin in the poignant Canadian War Memorials Collection features one of the most powerful images at Vimy Ridge in northern France. A touching remembrance crafted in sterling silver.
The reverse design features one of the statues of the Canadian National Vimy Memorial. Entitled, "Canada—a young nation mourning her fallen sons," it depicts a forlorn woman dressed in robes.
The background is representative of the lists of names that are found at the site.
