All Nations Acquires Hamster Stamps Inventory |
All Nations Stamp & Coin, of Vancouver, B.C., has acquired the retail inventory of George Saunders' Hamster Stamps. Saunders' stamp stock, of about 300 albums and boxes of world sets and singles, will be absorbed into All Nations' stamp inventory at All Nations. Saunders, a full time paramedic, who has been dealing in stamps at shows, and on eBay, for some years, has stepped back from frontline philatelics for now. All Nations, saw the opportunity to obtain a ready to retail dealers' stock as one not to be missed. |

"Quality collections and stocks are getting harder to find, and holdings like this seem to come up locally only every decade or so," says the All Nations storeowner, Brian Grant Duff, who has operated stores in Toronto, and Vancouver, since 1984. All Nations, his Vancouver stamp shop, which was established in 1949, features world stamps, coins, and banknotes, as well as weekly auctions. The Bay outlet, which has been in the same location for 14 years, also contains a complete stamp and coin inventory. The material Hamster stamps had squirelled away suits the two stores admirably. "We saved them from eBay for the Bay," quips the new owner. The new stock includes 40 albums of A-Z World Souvenir Sheets, 50 binders of World sets and singles, 30 mixed binders and boxes, and nearly 200 red boxes of world stamps on 102 cards. Collectors and Dealers visiting Vancouver can contact Brian Grant Duff at 604-684-4618. |
