Instore Appearance by Susanna Blunt, the Royal Canadian Mint's new effigy artist

Susanna Blunt, the West Vancouver artist, whose crownless image of Queen Elizabeth II now graces Canada's new circulating and collector coins, is appearing in the coin and stamp department, on the fourth floor of the downtown Vancouver Hudson's Bay Store, on Saturday January 31, 2004, between 11am and 3pm. 

Please note that All Nations has now moved to 5630 Dunbar St. at 41st Ave., Vancouver. Complete informatioin is at the bottom of every page.

The internationally collected artist will feature some of her new works depicting our Queen, sign autographs, and meet coin collectors, monarchists, and art enthusiasts, while unveiling some of the 2004 Royal Canadian Mint products which bear the image she designed.

Susanna BluntSusanna Blunt is not just a portrait artist, but some of her portrait sitters include: Toni Onley, George Woodcock, and Prince Edward. Susanna Blunt  has exhibited in Canada, Europe, Asia, and the U.S., studied in Banff and London, and taught in San Francisco and Vancouver. Her contemporary coin portrait was approved by the Queen and first appeared in the Queen's Golden Jubilee Year.  Susanna Blunt even worked with Yoko Ono during their time in London.
